So I've been able to load my banks up on an Intel Mac onto my Microkorg XL, and then using the MIDI Dump on the synth I am able to dump those patches and 'record' them onto SysEx Librarian on my M1 Mac.  


The issue now is that if I use 'record many' on SysEx Librarian and do a MIDI dump from the Microkorg of all programs or all data, I can't then load those recorded programs onto the Microkorg afterwards, nothing happens.  


This doesn't happen if, when MIDI Dumping, I do an an individual Dump per program and correspondingly hit 'record one' instead of 'record many' on the SysEx Librarian. Those always work, so it seems if there is a way to receive multiple programs at once on the Korg, I haven't figured it out yet.  


tl;dr, I can't figure out how to load an entire bank of sounds from Sysex to the XL, I can only do it one program at a time.

you need a sysex dump to output the patches

I have a number of free banks for my Microkorg XL. As we all know, newer M1 Macs don’t (yet?) support the Sound Editor, so I am aiming to use SysEx Librarian in the meanwhile.

Is there an easy way to use the patches stored in the banks by converting them to SysEx readable formats, such as .MID or .syx?

There isn’t even an associated file type for the older MacBook Sound Editor banks…
