Federal Republic of New Anders

The Federal Republic of New Anders is a self-declared nation claiming full control over its Discord server and partial control over 0.3 acres of land in Hinds County, Mississippi. The country has a presidential system of government and a bicameral congress consisting of a National Assembly and a Senate.

Government Bodies

The National Assembly has 14 members and is elected every year by citizens.

The Senate has 2 members for every state that are chosen by state governors.

The President is elected every 6 months and is head of state and government.

The Council of State (or cabinet) is chosen by the President and consists of all the ministers and the military. The electoral committee is defacto a part of the Council of State.

The Supreme Court (SCONA) has 8 justices that are chosen by the President for life.

Foreign Affairs

The President of New Anders handles most foreign affairs but gives some control to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. New Anders has formal or informal relations with most of the micronational community and even started the North Atlantic Security Council which is a suparmicronational alliance to help nations grow!

Citizenship

Anyone who has verified in the New Anders Discord Server is considered a citizen unless they leave the server or relinquish their citizenship. The President is also planning to allow animals as full citizens of New Anders

New Anders is governed by a constitution that protects your rights and data, and we plan to draft a civil and criminal code soon!
