**DENVER** — The New England Patriots have conquered almost every stadium in the NFL, but on Sunday, they walk into the one place that has historically served as their postseason graveyard. The Denver Broncos are **4-0 all-time** against the Patriots in home playoff games. Not even the Tom Brady dynasty could crack the code at Mile High. This Sunday at 3 pm ET, with a trip to the Super Bowl potentially looming, Bo Nix and the Broncos look to keep that perfect record alive.

# The Mile High Curse

New England's struggles in Denver aren't just a statistical quirk; they are a decades-long nightmare. The altitude has suffocated Patriots teams led by legends, and the noise at Empower Field is expected to hit deafening levels this weekend. The history books are clear:

* **1986 Divisional:** John Elway leads "The Drive" era Broncos to a 22-17 win.
* **2005 Divisional:** Champ Bailey’s iconic interception highlights a 27-13 drubbing.
* **2013 AFC Championship:** Peyton Manning throws for 400 yards in a 26-16 masterclass.
* **2015 AFC Championship:** Von Miller destroys the Pats' offensive line in a 20-18 thriller.

Now, it’s Bo Nix’s turn. The young quarterback has settled into the Sean Payton system with poise, but he isn't just playing against the current Patriots defense—he’s playing to protect a legacy. **"We know the history,"** Nix might as well say. **"But we have to win this snap, not the ones from 2015."**
