What Lifting Needs
One problem with maintaining your lifts over the long term is it is all personal. If you don't have a gym buddy, you're lifting alone. The gains are slow, and there is no one to hold you accountable besides yourself.
The most fun I ever had while lifting was in college. Someone was always down to lift without notice. Then you go into to the real world, and it is back to lifting alone.
The motivation and progress is still there but it’s harder in today's world run by an overfilled Google Calendar.
What lifting needs is community. Something flexible. Something that gives you motivation and tells you if you're progressing along with your friends.
That’s why I built Overlifter. I wanted to be able to progress together. We need community now more than ever!
