Tired of managing Google Groups for testing? I updated my tool to automate the whole flow.

Peerplay-how-to-use

Hey everyone,

I’ve received a lot of feedback on how painful it is to coordinate Google Groups, opt-in links, and testing swaps. I just pushed a major update to PeerPlay to make this entire process "set it and forget it."

What’s new in the workflow:

  1. For Developers (Better Setup):

Now, when you add your app, you include your Google Group link and your App Download/Opt-in link directly in PeerPlay.

Result: You only need to share one link (your PeerPlay invite link). When a tester clicks it, they get everything they need to join the test correctly. No more "URL not found" errors.

  1. 1-Click "Test-Back" Feature:

Reciprocity is key. In your app stats list, you can now see exactly who is testing your app.

New Action: You can now click directly on a tester from your list to instantly return the favor and start testing their app. It’s the fastest way to build a mutual testing relationship.

How to get started:

Add App: Paste your Google Group and Play Store links.

Share: Distribute your PeerPlay invite link.

Manage: Track 14-day telemetry (device, time, session length) and approve/test back with one tap.

I built this to remove the "admin work" from Android development so we can focus on coding.

Let me know what you think of the new "Test-Back" button – I’m trying to make it as easy as possible for us to hit that 12-tester requirement together!
