SPSC A/c Clerk & Jr. Storekeeper - Maths fail eligible or not?? Big ambiguity, please help! 🙏
Guys, I really need some solid advice regarding the SPSC Accounts Clerk and Junior Storekeeper recruitment.
In the official notification, the educational qualification literally just says Class XII passed (or equivalent) from any recognized Board with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class X .
Notice how they DID NOT mention the word pass for Class X maths. They only wrote "mathematics as one of the subject .
My situation I passed my Class X overall (Best of 5 rule), so I have a valid 10th pass certificate. I also meet all the other qualifications perfectly. When I filled out the online SPSC portal the system actually accepted my application and marked me as Provisionally Eligible for this post.
But my specific grade in Maths is a fail.
I have emailed and called the SPSC office lots of times to clear up this ambiguity but absolutely no reply. Berojkar basta basta haresh bai sakiyo the anxiety is killing me. I don't want to work my ass off for the written exam only to get rejected by some clerk at the Document Verification stage because of an unwritten rule.
Has anyone faced this with SPSC before? Are maths fail students eligible since the gazette only asks for it to be a subject? If anyone knows for sure plz reply.
Otherwise I meet all other criteria. Just this maths thing is a big ambiguity. Thanks in advance.
