Should a market-version phrase stay in the product name or move to a separate field?

Cross-border catalogs often include a market or country phrase in the product title. I can see two valid approaches: keep it in the display name so buyers notice it immediately, or store it in a structured version field so names stay shorter.

A page such as the Melsmon Japanese Version page makes the market phrase visible in the title. For an internal record, I would probably preserve the public display name and also map the phrase to a separate version column. That gives staff a clear audit trail without losing structure.

How do you handle this in multilingual or regional catalogs? I am interested in naming and version control, not assumptions about approval or product use.
