Can't remember exactly but I think Galiana had visited the planet before and swum in the ocean? The pattern jugglers then retained what is implied to be a version of her.

I think she visited the world during her exploration mission. The same mission she encountered the Inhibitors. Basically, the last time she wanted to live, she was ‘scanned’.

When they originally arrived arround arrarat, I think in RA, they found there was already a beacon there, a conjoiner beacon of the kind Galina left behind in every interesting system she found while exploring. Felka meanwhile was with Clavain when he retired to his lonely Island (it wasn't quite as lonely then), and had swam in the oceans regularly untill eventually the jugglers took her, it is heavily implied if not outright stated she did so because Galina swam with the jugglers too, and so her mind is in there. Furthermore in turquoise days we learn that when the jugglers do this they keep these people's minds running, kind of like alpha levels, to serve more or less as librarians for the juggles vast archive of patterns. This means Felka would have free reign to invoke the alpha level of anyone else who's mind was captured by the jugglers, to accompany her as she fills her eternal duty of helping the jugglers manage their archive of patterns (all of which result in emergence when

When Scorpio released Clavain’s body to the Pattern Jugglers on Ararat it’s implied that both Galiana and Felka are there too. We know about Felka but How did Galiana get there?
