Is this possible?

As many of you know, the Soviets have quite possibly the worst early fighter in the game, The I-16 ‘Ishak’ its the slowest fighter and weakest along with the P-40 for fighters, Earlier today I was having a duel with a Me262 and Shinden, having absolutely no money from constant harassment, I made 2 ishak fighters in desperation. Both the 262 and Shinden are the fastest aircraft and powerful. knowing I was going to lose I sent my two planes to fight both of them. It felt like a movie and awe striking, they had ammo and weren’t heading back, but I was able to shoot down an escaping me262 with one ishak and the shinden with the other all alone. was this a glitch? is this even possible? Ive never seen this happen out of my 5 years of playing.
