Importance of Charitable donations

I work for a large financial co as an administrative assistant. Many many of the 20 somethings have an air of entitlement. I have heard this from many coworkers from early 30s to late 50s. Could you talk about the importance of heartfully helping those less fortunate? I know that you give scholarships to university stusents. What other types of charities, other than cat rescues 😉, you support? Please and thank you
