So sad about this show.

I'm always looking forward to possible new trek, but I want the writing to actually be good. To be real. To do the work to represent done actual humanity instead of superficial symbols of implied depth... Watched the pilot yesterday, I was very disappointed. I wish star trek shows could take themselves a little more seriously. Tired of the marvel tier writing and IP burning :(
