Are there any education credits I can claim if I'm a dependent?

I technically qualify as a dependent. I just graduated, am getting married, and I'm hoping there is some tax credit I may be eligible for to help me pay off my student loans.

I only made 3,330 dollars in 2012 but, it was all non-employee compensation, so I'm being taxed as if I'm self employed.
