Tried theCut…

I recently switched to using theCut after a few rough walk-in experiences, and honestly… It’s been a game-changer. Being able to see a barber’s work beforehand on their portfolio and lock in a time? No more waiting around, no more gambling on the outcome.

That said, it does feel like a bit of a trade-off. You get the convenience, but you lose some of that classic barbershop vibe, the spontaneity, the banter, the whole experience, especially from a black man's pov, you get? And I won’t lie, the lack of flexibility plus some of those prices definitely caught me off guard.

Curious, has anyone here made the switch? How is the experience? You feel me, or are you still balancing between booking apps and old-school walk-ins?
