Why are authentic local spots so underrated?
Is it just me, or are people completely sleeping on small, authentic restaurants?
It’s honestly crazy how many amazing little spots offer a real culinary experience but stay empty, while the nearest fast-food joint has a line out the door. I feel like these smaller places are so underrated because people just choose convenience over actual quality and soul.
I’ve been visiting a few lately and the vibe is just different—the food has personality and you can tell it’s made with care. It’s frustrating to see them get sidelined by big chains just because they don't have the same marketing. Does anyone else feel like we’re losing out on great food just for the sake of speed?
