I blew my trading account 3 times before I understood this one thing about small capital

Not going to sugarcoat this.

I started trading with ₹10,000. Lost it. Started again. Lost it again. Did this for almost 2 years before I realised the problem wasn't my strategy at all.

The problem was math that nobody explained to me.

When you trade ₹10,000 — a "small" ₹500 risk per trade is actually 5% of your account. Professional traders risk 0.5% per trade maximum.

So you're taking in one trade what a pro risks across 10 trades.

5 losing trades in a row — which happens to every single trader — and you've lost 25% of your account. Then the panic sets in. Revenge trades. FOMO entries. Account destroyed.

This isn't a skill problem. It's a capital size problem. And nobody in the trading education space talks about it because they want to sell you a strategy course instead.

Has anyone else figured this out the hard way? What was the moment you realised it wasn't your strategy that was broken?
