"We were all laughing again..."

One of the people we recently supported shared this with us after receiving funding for a wheelchair and telescopic ramp:

"My increased happiness is amazing, I can’t thank you enough.  I know I will need another chair at some point as I degenerate but at the moment I can get out of the house and we can go places in the car we have.  I feel like I have regained some aspects of my life that I had lost. 

My husband doesn’t need to push me around everywhere and not stuck to me like glue.  We had a lovely walk out with our daughter in a local park recently and I could go where I wanted.  We even played a silly game chase the wheelchair... we were all laughing again. 

Thank you CMND, your support has really made a difference to me being able to get out of the house.  My mood is lifted and I am smiling in my new wheelchair!"

MND can make even simple family moments incredibly difficult. Hearing that someone was able to get back out into the park, spend time with their family, and laugh together again is exactly why support like this matters.
