Smell isn’t the strongest from Standard Farms but still nice, light lemon with just a hint of vanilla. Subsequent sniffs made me think first of lemon gelato/custard, and later still it reminded me of limoncello liquor without the ethanol scent.

400°F revealed the taste of a lemon curd pie of galette, with an emphasis on the crust. I also randomly got a small hint of coffee, but later resolved this was due to residual palette cleanser (dark chocolate covered espresso bean between different strains of rosin). Very smooth, no cough.

420°F is where this strain started to open up for me a bit more. This strain was very reminiscent of the freshly ground Vietnamese Black Peppercorns (picture included for the curious) which makes sense given the profile. Most of the lemon dissipated by 420, but like those peppercorns, there was a zestyness mixed in with the smoky burn of the caryophyllene/humulene.

450°F Neon Daydream held up at 450, some strains wash out with bitter/burnt flavor at this temp. Lighter flavor, pretty mild, no more lemon at all, but more pepper, more smoke, very subtle bitterness that that reminds me of a charred citrus peel rather than an unpleasant bitter/burnt. Slight terp tickle in my nose, and I coughed a couple times.

Overall taste was 7/10 for a SF strain.

I use a 25mm bucket banger with a small Kevin Murray rig, 3 hole perc with distilled H20. Temperatures reflect the temp reading of my PID and not the temperature of the quartz, they are included for context/comparison. I have a very high tolerance and as such don’t find it useful to review effects, SF always gets me medicated.
