Should I(f19) tell my BD(m19) that I don't want to be fwb anymore

Pretty much what the title says. I’ve been friends with benefits with this guy for a while, and somewhere along the way I fell in love with him. I’m pregnant with his baby, due in June, and I don’t think I can keep doing this “casual” thing anymore now that there’s a baby involved and I have real feelings.

I’m considering telling him that I’m in love with him and ending the FWB arrangement, but I don’t know if that’s the right move or if it’ll just make things worse or awkward between us. I’m not trying to force him into a relationship, but I also don’t want to keep hurting myself emotionally.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Should I tell him how I feel, or should I just end the FWB part without admitting the feelings? What’s the healthiest way to handle this before the baby comes?
