Preparing for IELTS in the final 10–45 days before the test.

Many IELTS students panic in the final weeks before the exam. Common concerns are, “I can’t understand fast English”, “I can’t speak fluently” or “I make too many spelling mistakes” The truth in most cases, is the problem is not knowledge. It’s the ability to process English in real time.

Here’s a simple approach that works.

For listening practice, listen to short audio. First without subtitles, then with subtitles. Focus on how words connect (not just individual words).

For speaking practice, use a structure like, answer the question, then give a reason with an example. This helps you speak more fluently.

For writing practice, keep sentences simple and clear. You don’t need complex grammar to get Band 6.

Band 6 is not about perfect English. It’s about clarity, structure and consistency. Calm down, worrying will only make things worse for you. Your persistence will get you there. Believe in yourself. You've got this!
