My Experience Installing Smart Locks

I finally installed a smart lock after getting tired of wondering if I locked the front door every time I left the house. I figured it'd be a pain to install, but honestly it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected.

The hardest part was lining everything up so the lock turned smoothly. Once that was done, setting it up in the app took just a few minutes.

The best part is not carrying keys every single time I step outside. I just punch in a code or unlock it with my phone if I need to. It's also super handy when family comes over since I can give them a code instead of hiding a spare key somewhere.

Only downside is I became slightly obsessed with checking the app at first just because I could. That wore off after a week.

Overall it's one of those upgrades that doesn't seem like a huge deal until you get used to it. Now using a regular key feels kinda old fashioned, and I don't think I'd want to switch back.
