Do men actually care about personality, or is that just something they say?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

As a woman, I’ve heard thousands of times that personality is more important than looks.

But when I look at what gets attention online, it often feels like the exact opposite.

The women getting the most attention usually fit a certain beauty standard, while personality seems to become important only after someone is already attracted to them.

I’m not trying to start an argument. I’m genuinely curious.

If two women had identical personalities but looked completely different, do you think most men would still choose based on personality?

Or is physical attraction the thing that opens the door, and personality is what decides whether someone stays?
