What to focus more on for Data roles

Same as title, i am aiming a data scientist role, can seniors please guide what and where should I focus more on. I have good understandings of ML and DL both, theory about different models is good. I have not focused on the statistics and probability part , also how important linear algebra, probability, stats becomes for interviews.

I am currently doing kaggle competitions only, nothing more so i need to know where to focus more
