Taking a Sabbatical

Many won’t see this, that’s fine, but for the few lurkers (…or fans? But hopefully, friends) I have acquired, I just wanted to say I’m not currently here.

I am just taking a short break. I would like it to be longer. Unfortunately, [Reddit is like a drug])https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11594359/). They always come back. And so will I, most likely. But I am hoping to be gone for a long time.

Why did I come here? Well, I have been Redditting for over a decade now, and I have a very SFW account relating to health/hair/beauty, my several dozen abandoned hobbies, general interest, work-related subs, Canberra content, etc., but I started this account when I realised I was lacking something very important. [Validation](https://www.simplypsychology.org/maslow.html). I won’t delve further for those lurkers who don’t know the story.

For those whom I became good friends with (I hope I have DMed you but I may have missed one or two… or twenty-six), you know where else you can find me. Go chat to me there instead.

So, this is probably not goodbye, but it is definitely ciao for now 😘
