Ever notice how every “free” app somehow costs you more privacy than money?
I was organizing my apps today and realized how many “free” ones are constantly syncing, tracking, or collecting something. It’s funny we worry about paying a few bucks for premium apps but think nothing of the data we’re giving away daily.
I’ve been trying to figure out which ones are worth keeping, and it’s wild how hard it is to find clear info on what data they collect. Feels like privacy shouldn’t be a puzzle you have to solve just to use your phone.
How do you decide which apps to trust these days?
(Perfect for r/privacy or r/technology relatable, discussion-oriented, and karma-friendly.)
