Vacation RAGE

So, to make this beginning short and simple I take one small vacation 3 days tops every year around my birthday to decompress and get my thoughts together, I have just started this after 2 years of working one hell of a job and finally feel like I can do this on a yearly basis.
I don’t ask for much. I don’t bother folks and I don’t give a flying fuck about what others have to say cause dammit no one pays my bills but me, but this shits got me seething and I just need to let it out.
It’s day one of my vacation and found out my boss didn’t tell anyone I wasn’t going to be there.
I put this in two months in advance so he had time to find someone, and if he couldn’t he could have told me when I was at work!
So first day I text the night shift to ask how it’s going and if he’s alright cause he’s my friend and works been stupid crazy. He tells me yeah but he doesn’t know who’s gonna be relieving him. He knows about my vacation and he told me it wasn’t my fault for what stupid shit was happening. Cause my BOSS decided not to find someone to cover a vacation two months in advance!!! And told the night shift that night that I wasn’t going to be there like wtf where they supposed to do?! Pull someone off the fucking street or something like wtf.
So my shift comes in and they get someone to cover, all good.
The night shift of our rotation comes in and my shift person who covered it was pissed off and started being petty telling the night shift ‘atleast one of you comes in.’ Like excuse me bitch?! I work 12 hours a day for the entire fucking year when I ask for three fucking days to not lose my shit I fucking deserve it!
Not like my job is hard or nothing so I don’t know why they bitching like children, but that pissed me off so goddamn bad and tomorrow and Sunday I don’t know what the fuck is gonna happen.
I’m gonna try to enjoy these two days, and be a fucking Ray of sunshine when I come in cause oooooh, I am gonna play off so damn hard about how fucking petty they had to be even after I told them I wasn’t gonna be there.

Side note 1: MY BOSS TOLD ME AFTER I ASKED HIM AT THE BEGINNING OF MONTH ABOUT THE VACATION IF I WAS ALL GOOD, HE SAID HE HAD IT COVERED!!!

Side note 2: Vacations the boss has to find someone to cover it is not the responsibility of the person taking the vacation.
It is only when it is a last minute thing does the person have to find someone themselves.
