Big wins! (And some real slip ups.)

Since my last post I’ve finished 1 body wash, 1 body mist, and condensed 2 lipsticks into 1 more usable lipstick.

However I’ve added two new products to the lineup. Essentially placing me back at square one.

I wanted to spice up my current shower routine and picked up a new EOS body wash. The scent is Strawberry Dream (the large white bottle) and I must say, I do love it a lot. (10 dollars)
As project pan is still new to me, I do recognize that there will be lapses in judgement but I’m really going to take the feeling of guilt I was left with (about spending my money when I have a body wash I prefer sitting at home!) to power me through the rest of this process.

Per my last post, I had an EOS body mist in my pan collection in the scent “Pomegranate Raspberry” which I absolutely love and in my clouded mind, thought I would love it even more and use it more continuously if I had the matching lotion to pair with it. So I acted on that. (13 dollars)

As I type this, it’s like I can hear the craziness of my logic.

We are all caught up. So now I will leave it with my edited thoughts on all my previous products from my first post.

That soap bar looking thing in the clear-ish container is another impulse buy that will definitely carry me through the rest of the year. (And then some!) It’s a creamsicle scented beeswax lotion bar that is just a touch impractical for me.

The pink bottle is a lovely rose scented hair oil from DHC. Another gift that never fit into my routine. I’m about 1/3 of the way through it. I have wavy hair but it’s heavy enough for me to only want to use it on my ends. Making better progress on this one than I had expected!

The glass perfume bottle is beautiful magnolia by Estée Lauder. (A gift) and is definitely my favorite real perfume. This is a spare bottle (I do not need 2) and the scent is strong enough that I never really have to reapply this one so it will take awhile. 1/3 of the way done with it. This is my next focus perfume.

The small brown container is my Trader Joe’s cinnamon roll flavored lip mask. Absolutely love it, especially for fall. It lasts forever and smells great, but I don’t love it as much as my laneige. (Impulse buy) this is taking just as long as I imagined.

The pink mascara tube with the blue cap was purchased at the same time as the orange and pink smaller tube of mascara from the dollar tree. They were both bought because I forgot my mascara on a work trip. The pink and blue is definitely my favorite of the two and is much easier to work with. The small tube is very dry but I’m thinking I can pair the two because I like the wand of the smaller one better. $3.50 total(?)

The light and dark pink tube of liquid blush is a beauty creations, cushion tip liquid blush that I got in my one and only ipsy kit. It’s nice but I prefer the elf liquid blush. I do enjoy the applicator and hope to go through this one relatively quickly. Halfway through this one, using it very consistently. 9 dollars.

The metallic champagne colored liquid eyeshadow with the brown cap is a juvious place coffee-shop metallic shadow in the shade vanilla velvet. Bought it on a whim to be a replacement for the Fendi diamond bomb highlighter to which I found it’s no replacement. Great to use as an eyeshadow or a highlighter though. It takes next to no product to get the desired effect so this one is taking longer than expected $15.

Now for my largest vice (besides fragrances!)
The lip products.

I ended up, combining the two lipsticks from my previous post into one more usable shade for me. I love it and have used it much more than I would have if the two lipsticks were separate.

Finally my lipgloss in the clear cylindrical tube with the little grape charm on top. It’s from the Daiso from a brand I had never heard of (beauty treats). Smells like grape and I mixed my old fenty lipgloss (fussy heat) into it for more color since that one was on my pan list as well. Bought cause it was cute. Lipglosses go much faster than lipsticks for me. 1/3 of the way done with this as of the first update.

Thank you to those of you who took the time to read. I’ve enjoyed this process so much, so far.

Project pan- first real update
