Manifesting advice?

So for some context I started manifesting an ex and it worked he was saying my affirmations back to me and everything was great for a few hours when he suddenly decided he didn’t want anything serious and blocked me lmao. Is this to do with my self concept or something else. Any advice is appreciated. 💕
