Tired of vague client briefs: briefmap.io

Tired of figuring out what a client actually want. So I built this.

Client sends a 3-sentence email with their "vibes" of what they envision. So I thought, "vibes into GitHub tickets".

And so here it is: [briefmap.io](https://briefmap.io/). The idea is pretty simple: you paste in a client brief (or even just a vague email) and it turns it into a structured GitHub project with issues, milestones, and user stories. Instead of spending hours breaking down what a client actually wants, it does that first pass for you.

I AM super hyped, but as always, NO idea what other people think of this.

Built it mainly for freelance devs, small dev teams and product owners who deal with clients regularly.

How it works:

  1. Paste in the client brief

  2. Answer a few questions to refine the scope

  3. It generates the tickets, you can edit them, delete stuff, tweak story points, change acceptance criteria

  4. Export straight to GitHub

Still early and rough in places but the core idea is solid.

Sign up is free, and you get 3 credits/projects. So poke around if you want ;-)

Curious: what's the messiest brief you've ever received?
