VOOT Emulation - Is there a way to play this game using a controller's dual analog sticks?

I never had an opportunity to have the Twin Stick experience in VOOT. When I was a kid in the Philippines I played the original VO at an arcade using twin sticks and it became a core memory.

Is there a way to kind of relive this experience on a controller via dual Analouge Sticks without having to spend a butt load of cash on Twin Sticks, a Dreamcast, and the game itself?
