MANIA [OC]

Sharp, agitated energy

pings my eyes awake, again.

All of my cells are rushing.

It's down my limbs, forcing me to move,

Concentrated in my chest.

It shoots into my throat, balling it shut.

I can't breathe.

I gasp.

My minds racing on that train again,

So fast, it's skipping over the rails,

Bound to crash again.

Can't sleep, watching the clock.

Thinking of all the ways I can get it to stop.
