Smallish system for sun room.
My wife has asked me to "sort out the stereo" in out sun room. At the moment is an aging Bose BT speaker, which is not meeting needs.
Here's some requirements and constraints. 3x3m room, couch in on one side and speaker will have to go on the other side. There's no room for floor standing speakers, there's a cabinet on the far wall. A TV will be in the centre. So bookshelf speakers, cannot be too big (Sony SSCS5 too big). Wife has a preference for white (happy wife happy life). We have a lot of devices that need to connect via BT, and that needs to be fairly seemly, do not want to be pairing/unpairing all the time. Spotify and Yourtube is probabaly the 99% source of audio, via Laptops and phones. Music styles will be broad, but predominantly EDM, and electronica/ambient, dub, pop. Must be user friendly, just needs to work for Mrs and guests.
I'm happy to have something like AIYIMA A07 Wiim Pro passive speakers - need recommendations please.
or AIYIMA A08, but I'm just not sure how user friendly the BT is.
Or, happy with powered speakers + Wiim Pro, but assume these will be bigger.
budget is abut AU$1000, or there abouts.

Well, then you will need a sub, in particular if you are going with smaller speakers.
And damn is gear expensive in AU
I agree on both points, but not sure the Mrs cares that much. I think I will look around for a sub but not sure where it can go. Yes, pices are wild, in AU. If I can get via amazon I will ship from US.
