I have been developing a local chet system, and using various way to provide a memory/history. However, the console based client I have cobbled together cannot handle file upload, large clipboard paste, and such. I suck at web stuff.

I'm looking for a browser based client I can use for my backend, preferably Python\Flask based.

Any ideas?

Hello,

I borrowed my children's cheap watercolor set (<$10), to colour some ink sketches, and rather enjoyed it. So played about a bit and would like to get my own. Some research lead me to this : https://www.lizsteel.com/my-recommended-very-basic-watercolour/

My fascination is with foliage, trees and such, so I added the Sap Green and Jane's Gray.

Hello, I'm planning on making a classifier for some local frog species. I have pleanty of audio, but as most of it is from a metropolitan setting, there is background noise. I was planning to at least roll-off the traffic rumble <100hz, but thought I would check to find out what's best practice for sample preparation.

Any advice?

Hello, There is a very large train yard near where I live, and within it is a conservation frog habitat. The habitat was created when they expanded the site, to provide help to an endangered frog species. Naturally the site is out-of-bounds to the public, but I emailed the state authority and eventually was given a contact, and permission to get access, to do a recording, to see if the is any evidence of the frog being around.

I'm a hobbyist, and have quite modest gear (Zoom h1n, Zoom F3). I built a few pairs of condenser mics using AOM5024 capsules, and these do just fine for my uses. For wind protection, I have designed and 3d printed small blimps (20cm long, 10cm diameter). I cover the

A few years ago I built a homebrew corexy, atmega2560 based. I need to do some upgrades, reprint some parts, design and convert to direct drive extruder, etc.

The electronics were always a bit of a mess, once it was all working I just shoved it all in a box and forgot about it.

I would like to switch to Klipper, and make the wiring it a bit more presentable. Can anyone recommend a control board?

edit : ok, the world has moved on in the last 10 years. https://all3dp.com/2/3d-printer-controller-boards/

I managed to get the tables name and the first column name, then my brain snapped.

I'm trying to help my daughter with an assignment.

She has the pieces of UV sensitive 'sunart' paper.

After leaving the paper out in the sub for different lengths of time, we want to measure how much different the shade of colour is. Here's what i hoped to do.

  1. Photograph each item and include a Black\White\Grey card and some 5mm grid paper.
  2. Set the white levels, Image\Adjust\BrightnessContrast (auto?)
  3. Make a selection using the grid paper, and move to target area
  4. Measure the RGB of the ROI (Plugin\Analyze\RGB Measure)
  5. Convert to luminesce with maths
  6. Show the difference of the luminescence

I'm really not sure about step 2, if I use a b/w/g card, shouldn't the levels

This is a smallish room, and after some research opted for the following.

  • Warfedale Diamond v12.1 Speakers
  • Fosi Audio TB10D Updated
  • Wiim Mini

I was pretty happy with this setup, but family asked for a TV too, so I picked up a Samsung. The TV only has BT, HDMI and SPDIF for audio.

While I can pair the TV with the Wiim, it's a multi-step process to use.

  1. Set the TV to use BT for Audio
  2. Set Wiim to use BT, and/or get other devices to disconnect. It's a hassle, and I notice the TV can be configures to always send auto to SPDIF. I spent a while not understanding the the SPDIF on the Wiim is output, not input. sigh.

So I either need to buy a converter from SPDIF to RCA and then RCA t

My wife has asked me to "sort out the stereo" in out sun room. At the moment is an aging Bose BT speaker, which is not meeting needs.

Here's some requirements and constraints. 3x3m room, couch in on one side and speaker will have to go on the other side. There's no room for floor standing speakers, there's a cabinet on the far wall. A TV will be in the centre. So bookshelf speakers, cannot be too big (Sony SSCS5 too big). Wife has a preference for white (happy wife happy life). We have a lot of devices that need to connect via BT, and that needs to be fairly seemly, do not want to be pairing/unpairing all the time. Spotify and Yourtube is probabaly the 99% source of audio, via Laptops an

Headphones - Open Back

I have been using a mono headset for meetings, because I don't like the closed in sound of my own voice.

I was thinking of just getting a pair of Grado SR80x, and desk mic. Can anyone tell me if the open back nature of these headphones will help my own voice sound?
