His USO2021 draw was cursed. Like everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

Are you a Djoko fan or is this ironic? That RG Slam final was high quality, both had more winners than errors, especially Djoko. On clay that is not easy since rallies are a bigger thing on clay.
And how is his draw at Wimbledon luck if you say everyone sucks on grass?
one of the things i remember most about that match was them playing "stars are blind" and zooming in on paris hilton in the audience lmfao
Zverev took the fourth set and dipped
Broke my heart that zverev couldnt stay the course. Really shows how much of a beast Novak is at slams. Zverev beat him at the olympics and ATP finals either side of this and was playing the beat tennis of his career. But just couldnt win here.
I still can’t believe Novak won that match. Zverev was in great form and brimming with confidence and played really really well. Think this was a big reason for why Novak had so little in the tank left for the final.

I wouldn't put this necessarily as one of the all-time epics you'll see, but man was it compelling. Zverev was playing crazy tennis and was a big challenge, Novak put his all physically and emotionally here to get through it. And the 53-shot set point that Zverev saved here was a defining moment for this match, a brutal battle of wills. Underwhelming final in terms of competitiveness, probably somewhat due to this match taking Novak's legs out, but this semifinal was a really fantastic level. With huge stakes. Definitely one to remember. Novak truly giving his all to get through, knowing what's at stake and how tough Zverev was playing
Yeah, this match along with the olympics tired him too much for the final. Either way, it was a great one.
