Good real estate Attroney Recommendations

Question/Recommendation

I have purchased a new construction home in the suburbs of Raleigh, NC from a local builder.

As part of the closing, my builder (local builder) gave me a note saying he can finish the sunroom within 90 days after closing otherwise going to pay 3200$. And also he didn't give the appliance check of 1200$ as part of the closing (my other mistake was not settling as part of the closing). It has been more than 5 months after closing and my builder is ghosting me for the last month. I have sent an email saying that I will contact the attorney but still no response. My builder is very shady, and political and is very experienced with all these, and dealt with multiple lawsuits.

Do you have any recommendations for me to get my money back? Do you have good contacts of Attorneys to deal with such issues at a reasonable price (not an arm or leg)?

===== EDIT ===== Thank you for responding everyone. I sent an email to the builder saying going to contact the attorney and write my experience with all the contracts in the public domain. That moved the needle and responded to me. Hopefully, it resolves the issue.

I’d call the troubleshooter. The attorney fees you are going to pay will negate much of what you are owed.

Do you have an agent?

I don’t have a recommendation but I’m curious if any of this was in writing?

Ahh thanks overlooked that. I’ve seen a lot of handshake deals on this sort of thing. Those rarely end well.
