She was a pretty big film star in the 60s and was nominated it for Oscars etc.
I don't mean to sound bad but I would never have thought to look at Phyllis that she was a beauty in her prime. I know she was 70 odd when she joined but she just looked very different to her younger self.

I just googled her name and realized that she actually passed away from "natural causes" in 2020.
Kathryn Joosten (Karen Mccluskey) died from lung cancer >!shortly after her character died, also from lung cancer in the final season shown for the first time in TV in 2012.!<
Orson Bean (Roy Bender) died after he was hit by a car in 2020.

A few actually. Polly Bergen died at 84 of natural causes. Lupe Ontiveros (the elder Juanita Solis) died of liver cancer at 69. Larry Hagman died at age 81 or leukemia.

I explained that I googled her name to look at pictures of her when she was younger, and well, she looks like many other young people. She looked good but why are you so surprised? She aged and gained some weight? Most people do.
When I checked her Wikipedia page, I saw that she passed 2 years ago. That's it.
I'm not hijacking anything, just asking if somebody knows other actors that died already. If you don't care, just ignore it. Stop making a big fuss out of it.
I know - you'd never know to look at her that she was once a petite and pretty blond. Polly Bergen, who plays Lynettes's mom Stella, was gorgeous in her youth. I didn't recognize her in this, and I also didn't recognize Larry Hagman, who appeared as Stella's nasty boyfriend. He had really aged since I last saw him in anything.

When I looked at those pictures of young Shirley Knight, I almost for a brief moment thought I was looking at black and white pictures of Danielle in her "Bree" costume.
