Just seeing Linda Hamilton, Michael biehn who played Kyle Reese from terminator one and the Robert Patrick actor who played the terminator in terminator 2 all coming to Dublin comic con in August. Spike from Buffy there too.

Pretty impressive line up especially Linda Hamilton. So just putting that out there for any terminator fans.

I recall watching tfl inspections waiting on people who were persistent offenders a few years ago on that channel five documentary and I wondered was that more for the show?

Do they actually take note of persistent offenders like tail gaters and those using cards inappropriately and set up stings for them ?

I'm gay male myself so obviously not homophobic but I'm working in a large building site in Dublin predominantly men. And I'm surprised at the massive amount of homophobia I hear amongst young men in 2023. I was chatting to one 30 year old today who is otherwise sound that it makes you much less of a man etc. He'd no idea I'm gay.

Last week I heard it too from other blokes using gay slurs etc and basically saying that gay men weren't real men. In 2023, I'm pretty surprised over this level of homophobia. What's everybodys thoughts?

In season 1, Bree gets rebuked by prostitute Maisy Gibbons for failing to support her during her financial hard times. Bree then says she didn't want to say anything as not to embarrass her and Maisy says that was the wrong approach.

Consequently bree then tries to address Gaby's financial problems that were similar and Gaby tells her off. So it's like a case that you are dammed if you do, dammed if you don't. I don't understand what message the writers were trying to give in that episode, it was like a totally contradictory message.

Remember in season 1 the scavos befriended Ailsa and Dennis and Dennis kept making snide remarks to Lynette and Lynette rebuked him.

He then left his wife and Ailsa blamed Lynette. I thought Lynette was only sticking up for Ailsa so I think Ailsa's anger was very misplaced.

I must admit though the scene in the classroom with Lynette, Ailsa and the daughter where she confronts Lynette and the daughter translates was hilarious though.

Especially when the daughter said " emotional, financial, sexual " and Lynette said to Ailsa can we not do this in front of her and she said "now you are telling me how to raise my daughter?" 😄 😄
