black load screen

If you mean that you're getting a black screen with the yellow Vault-Tec logo frozen on the bottom right corner...
Quick answer: The only fix I know of is to get into a private server, fast travel to anywhere that isn't Helvetia, go back to a public server, walk to Helvetia. You can use someone else's private server to do it, too.
The rest: It only seems to happen when you're loading into Helvetia. It started a year or so ago but wasn't always like that. My guess is that they're trying to stop players from doing Fasnacht then server hopping to try to get the rewards from another one that didn't finish yet. We used to do two events every hour. Now that's difficult, if not impossible. It's not worth it for me to try anymore so I'm not sure.

Thanks. That would make sense. Yep I remember that and seem to remember that you can't even make it to your own private world to do the event twice. I had to delete the game and reinstall it. It took ages for the game to reload but it worked.

It happens when you log off in certain areas or around certain mpc's, load into a private world if possible fast travel away then try loading into a normal world.

I can log into Fallout. Just get a black load screen. Anyone else having this problem?

Not a black loading screen but my game has been crashing a lot
I cant even log in, it was OK earlier but now I cant even play the game.
