Onboard HDMI not working - Ryzen 5 4600G

Open | Software

I'm running a Ryzen 5 4600G and GeForce GTX 1050Ti. I can only get the HDMI from the GPU to work, trying to run a second monitor from the onboard HDMI doesn't work.

I've tried installing the latest AMD adrenaline for Windows 11 but I receive the Error 182 - AMD Software Installer Detected AMD Graphics Hardware in Your System Configuration That Is Not Supported.

I've tried the ASRock BIOS - but there's no chipset configuration menu or multi-monitor, iGPU settings.

I suspect it is a driver issue, but I can't install the latest drivers so I'm stuck.

It's a new PC for basic home use running two monitors, I performed all Windows 11 updates then added the 1050Ti. Any help would be appreciated.

you can't use both the GPU and the integrated graphics at the same time. it's either one or the other.

Ah so I was trying to be technical and ended up being stupid, appreciate it though thanks!

Not being stupid. They never really advertised that newer boards disable iGPU and won't let you enable it if you have a GPU.

This is not true, you can have a monitor plugged into the mobo and a monitor plugged into the gpu and run them simultaneously.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
