Re animated dbz

Discussion

If they were to re animate dbz to make it more modern the way I think it should be done is by combining DBZ and uncut dbz Kai. Having the actors of the modern show, with a combination of scripts. Like the I am goku speech, Kai was better, it was inspirational and impactful but Z was also impactful and inspirational. If there was like a combined speech then that would be awesome. What do you guys think? Should this happen?

No re-animated version of Dragon Ball would intentionally use altered-for-worse dialogue from the crappy English dub.

I can't see a full-fledged redone series happening regardless, and I don't think I'd want it to happen anyway. If Super is the best they can do for a mere spinoff these days, then I don't want to even imagine how terrible a remake or reboot attempt would turn out.

Just to riff on this a little bit, when The Legacy of Goku II (Game Boy Advance) was reverse-imported to Japan as The Legacy of Goku II INTERNATIONAL, they didn't translate the game's script: they specifically took out and re-wrote all of the nonsense FUNimation-exclusive script and put back in the original Japanese script.

But the Japanese version would be phenomenal especially if an exact animated replica of the manga.

this sounds awful. if they were to reanimate Z id want MORE cute from Kai to make it even closer to the manga, not adding in more stuff that was cut out, no matter how enjoyed it was.

I would love a dragon ball remake anime from kid goku to buu saga with no filler

Stick to the manga 1:1. Anything else would be like slap to the face.

There’s something called dbz Kai, it’s this new thin that came out 18 years ago and it’s basically that idea just shortened
