No, Teal'c! NOOOOO!!!
This is so sad. Christopher Judge was just in The Dark Knight Rises. He doesn't have to do asylum movies!
Might be worth the Netflix rent.
ii don't think it would even be worth a pirate bay torrent, but i'm going to download it anyway
Aw man, you're better than this Christopher Judge.
What the bloody buttfucking hell is this bullshit?
I still want to see this, not due to any LOTR tie in, just because it sounds not too bad(for low budget cheese). Its actually a shame they are using the hobbit term, though on the other hand I probably would have never heard of it.
the logic is that the scientific community has started using the term "hobbit" to describe homo floresiensis and so is perfectly legal to use to describe them in this movie.
And yet, the dragons indicate that this is not at all intended to be a historical film, so therefore they're not the historical "hobbits" and the Tolkien estate will tear these people a new one before this ever gets released.
I think they are still basing it in southeast asia/SE asian culture, where the historical "hobbits' were found
Doesn't or shouldn't matter. If it were a historical drama it might fly.
"In an ancient age, the small, peace-loving Hobbits are enslaved by the Java Men, a race of flesh-eating dragon-riders. The young Hobbit Goben must join forces with their neighbor giants, the humans, to free his people and vanquish their enemies."
Goben pls.
Gollum, failed son of Goben the Dragon Slayer
