What's up guys! It's your friendly Genshin overthinker Inotia King. As always before we begin I just want to make sure new readers have checked out my first topic which is the basis for all my theories. So if you haven't checked that out yet please click here.

It's been a while so I think it's safe to talk about Caribert the latest quest from Dainsleif.

As with most of my predictions for upcoming events and quests I managed to pick out the essentials from the livestream but not the specific details. So I had stated that I believed the glowing purple hilichurl would be Caribert and his story was about undoing the curse Celestia imposed on them. Check. A long long while ago I stated that part of the Dainsleif Travail quote about facing him for the right to save "her" would be correcting certain things Dainsleif has deemed fact. This would be one of those along with the mysterious powers he employs. I also suggested that we'd find out about Kaeya in this quest through Caribert who'd blow the whistle on his noble lineage. Well that whistle was blown just by Dainsleif directly which I was definitely not counting on. That was really abrupt especially given Dainsleif's previous appearances in Mondstadt.

Oddly though in my prediction I had a bad feeling that miHoYo might only imply certain things and that the livestream's scenes were meant to throw us off. In that prediction I suggested Caribert might be a researcher who ends up figuring out how to break the curse. Which turned out to be close since that research was indeed conducted but by his dad and for the same purpose.

I: Not big enough

So that was the general stuff I got right. But I really underestimated what miHoYo was intending with this quest and the new information is incredible!

In another theory of mine I explained what our MC's true purpose is and that there are plenty of parties trying to accomplish the same thing though they'll all fall short and meet with failure. Chlothar's whole "my son has become the Loom of Fate!" would be another of those mooks. Yeah Caribert didn't become jack lol. I think the previous Dainsleif quest explained that pretty well. If Chlothar did actually gain the Loom of Fate already and we know our sibling was right there when he did it then that would be that. Everybody could become this Loom of Fate and Khaenri'ah's problem would be solved. But since the Loom of Fate operation is still under way it means Chlothar just jumped the gun.

At the same time the fact that Chlothar would connect our MC who is a Descender, with the Abyss really helps push my other theory. Well I suppose Honkai's recent Chapter XXXV helped even more. In my theory I presented the idea that humanity is just caught in the middle of a big pissing contest between the heavenly Celestia and hellish Abyss. If we push that up a tier that would be the Honkai rivalry between the Imaginary Tree and Sea of Quanta. Well in Chapter XXXV we take on enemies that seem to represent both. There are Void Seeds and Imaginary Tree Fragments and the seeds are spawned by the fragments. (I'm translating these names. I can't find an English source on them.) So it would seem that to your average human these two entities might as well be one and the same.

The next interesting thing I wasn't counting on was actually hearing the Sea of Quanta. I don't think that's ever been a thing even in Honkai. Yes you can talk to the Will of the Honkai but that might also just be an AI created in the Previous Era that Otto spoke to. That being said Dainsleif seems to know about this entity so it could just as easily be an avatar of the sea and not the sea itself similar to how the Descenders are likely avatars of the Imaginary Tree. Either way the existence of a conscious and malevolent Void is confirmed now and that's good enough for me.

Mostly because of that other theory about those plans and how only our MC will get it right. This quest is showing us how the Abyss got started. We were once told by Tsumi during the Three Realms Gateway Offering that the Abyss rely on the Void as a power source but it was like a drug for them while flat out poisonous for everybody else. I claimed based on the Void really being the Sea of Quanta that it was whispering to these mooks and convincing them to commit to their plans which line up with the sea's own goal aka destroy the world so that another leaf can be reabsorbed into entropy.

II: Details for Days

In my previous topic I briefly brought up a part of the quest that lined up very well with my working history about Khaenri'ah. Back then all I had to go on were the Ruin Golems in Sumeru. If you go through those quests you find this group of Abyss forces that actually fought against Khaenri'ah called the Schwanenritter. But if you look into it that's a German word for something from the legends of King Arthur. I suggested that this meant Khaenri'ah wasn't a true nation but just a conglomeration of the peoples fleeing from Celestia's wrath.

Check. But that left things a little messy. See we also already knew there was some royal family in Khaenri'ah ever since the last Dainsleif quest. So what kind of system makes sense with a royal lineage but composed of just any random collection of runaways? Thanks to this quest we now know. "Pure blood" Khaenri'ahns are based on the Romans left behind after Rome's fall. These aren't necessarily Roman (Eastern Romans = Greek+ and Western Romans = Goths) but are for all intents and purposes a single group of people. But Khaenri'ah then accepted anybody from any of the establishing nations as long as they rejected their nation's god. That comes from the Viking aspect of Khaenri'ah. The Vikings are known for pillaging and plundering but taking a closer look we see that their conquests also ended up uniting disparate populations under their banner. (more so with the Normans but you get the idea)

Anyway that would explain the "English" Schwanenritter and this one Latin poem you can find in the Chasm from someone who references Barbatos but had joined Khaenri'ah. But then there's also Chlothar suggesting that the expats(?) that joined Khaenri'ah were changed to hilichurls while all the pure blood ones were given immortality for being the "greater sinners." So first we know that's bs because the last quest showed the hilichurls are also immortal and suffering from erosion. Dainsleif and the hilichurls suffer equally when the Abyss tries breaking the curse. Second that would actually imply that the hilichurls were the greater sinners maybe because not only did they reject Celestia they actually accepted Celestia's Seven at first and then defected from them. It could be that Celestia felt more betrayed by them and disfigured them into the Hylic hilichurls doomed to not only rot away slowly but also not even have a comprehensive mind while they live. (Or Chlothar just has no idea what he's talking about.)

III: Bonus Round

The quest reveals that Chlothar Alberich is the founder of the Abyss. But he's dead and our sibling is still the prince(ss) which means at least to me that while Chlothar did originate the Abyss he was never its King. I still believe that title goes to Rhinedottir who as the recent event reiterated is also known as Gold the crazed alchemist who brought down Khaenri'ah to begin with. I'm going to guess they keep doing that to make sure that while we learn about her from Albedo and Alice we don't forget that she's still a psychopath.

The fact that Chlothar established the Abyss also means there was a significant delay between it and the fall of Khaenri'ah. I think that was implied already but we also know that Rhinedottir created the Rifthounds and other Abyss forces during the fall which sets up a certain timeline. We know that the surviving Khaenri'ahns were cursed and some ended up hilichurls but now we also know that they were still just ordinary people with a strong anti-god bias the whole time. It was just Rhinedottir's own group that started out as zealots of the Void Realm. This could also explain why our sibling remained an underling to her despite being on the Loom of Fate mission based on the events of this quest.

It could be that our sibling is working for the Abyss to make up for their part in creating it. They hope to stop the powers of the Abyss from further corrupting and causing suffering to Khaenri'ah and this is their Void Plan in desperation.

Now I hear some of you asking "but what about the cutscene from Windblume and Rhinedottir talking about being a mother because of Albedo?" To that I say this is Genshin. You know how just about every villain we've seen so far has had some kind of sob story to explain their villainy? Well Rhinedottir was the villainous Gold before she made Albedo so it's likely Albedo is her redemption arc. I theorized that the point of Rhinedottir and Albedo is to show how hard it is to get to rubedo in their alchemy. It could be that once Albedo loses control by screwing up into citrinitas that episode hits Rhinedottir hard and sets up a plot for us to save her from herself.

Side Note: I wonder if when that happens if our sibling will double down and that's when they become King/Queen of the Abyss taking over for Rhinedottir to stubbornly continue their destructive quest.

Dainsleif says that the "Sinner" can see into memories of the past. Because of that it saw into the Ley Line-born dream of our MC and now knows about them. I think miHoYo was just using this as an excuse to keep Dainsleif out of our party until Khaenri'ah but what it also implies is that we've now "met" one of our ultimate enemies. As a Descender we're at the same level as Phanes but because our mission sets us up to gain the Eighth Element, Rubedo, Loom of Fate, what have you we will end up at the level of the Imaginary Tree which is equally balanced against this "Sinner" aka the Sea of Quanta. And as I previously said it works even better if the voice ends up an avatar of the Sea of Quanta since we'd technically be an avatar of the Imaginary Tree.

Finally there's the Kaeya of it all. I think he's going to have it rough. If miHoYo keeps up the positive atmosphere of Genshin though he should be fine. But this is miHoYo we're talking about. They could easily plunge this game into Honkai angsty hell and then Kaeya's going to have a bad time. But I think that deserves it's own topic so I'll save it for the next one.

https://preview.redd.it/r54zp8hqpxna1.png?width=494&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=e09262db4e47e9baf6932b07867ca0a849ffaa51

So in summary:

  • Events in the quest seem to support the idea that the Honkai rivalry between the Imaginary Tree and Sea of Quanta exists in Genshin.
  • The Void which represents the sea is actively speaking to the Abyss Order's forces for its own ends. The actual voice though could just be an emissary of it and not the sea itself.
  • Caribert's not the Loom of Fate.
  • Khaenri'ah is shown to be a nation with a core "pure blooded" population and an extended population made up of people across Teyvat.
  • It's more likely that the extended Khaenri'ahn population were punished further by Celestia by both disfiguring them and making them immortal. It could be because they would have technically accepted the new order before deserting it.
  • While it is now revealed that Chlothar established the Abyss Order he's dead and yet our sibling is still the second in command. I maintain that the Queen of the Abyss is still Rhinedottir.
  • This is more likely as we know Rhinedottir already had Abyssal powers prior to the fall while Chlothar spent a long time as a cursed human before establishing the Abyss Order. It's likely her original forces hold the high positions in the order while the Khaenri'ahns gathered by Chlothar make up its grunts.
  • Our sibling might be with the Abyss simply to make up for their role in its creation. This would explain their stubbornness in the previous quests.
  • Rhinedottir while being Queen and also Gold might still have some redeeming quality as shown by the Windblume event.
  • If she is redeemed this could also be when our sibling truly takes over leadership of the Abyss.
  • Kaeya has a truly important choice to make. It's been downplayed for now but I think Mona is on to something even more so now.

One thing I disagree with this is about Rhinedottir. I think the creation of abyssal monsters (Rift Hounds and Durin etc.) were just experiments and out of curiosity and not for destruction. I strongly believe that those were ones cute and lovable creation of Gold but in some shenanigans got corrupted with abyssal powers (experiment gone wrong). The evidence for this is Durin and her/his attack on Mondstadt. In Durin's mind him/her and Duvalin were playing while admiring his beauty but in reality, Durin is fighting Duvalin.
It means that Durin knows how to have fun and has innocence prior the cataclysm.

Gold mentions that most of her creations were gone and only Albedo remains, which she told to find the true nature of this world before entrusting him to Alice. If she's in fact the queen of the abyss, isn't it more fruitful if she recruit Albedo? Since Albedo told how he followed everything his master says.

But this doesn't prove that she is not connected with the abyss but I think that she is not a part of the Abyss Order.

The tale of pale princess and the six pigmies has a night queen in it. So I think there is a real queen of the abyss but it is not Rhinedottir.

If Art of Khemia was connected with forbidden knowledge in any way, probably the cute doggos eventually got corrupted by it.

And the same time Albedo's "brothers" been feed to Durin, just because they're seen as failure creations to Rhinedottir, what a lovely mother she is.

InotiaKingOP•

I think aiglas0209 already pointed it out very elegantly but I'd like to add that even if Durin believed it was only playing with Dvalin it's very difficult to believe that Rhinedottir would think attacking Mondstadt with a dragon dripping with poisoned blood was playing. She seems to know exactly what she's doing.

At best I could give you that she's similar to Chlothar where she's blinded into hating the Archons and mentally unstable because of the curse. That second thing still came after Khaenri'ah's fall though which we do know she caused with her attacks. There really isn't a way to make her innocent in all this.

I didn't read the dozens of other paragraphs long essays you linked to (cause honestly it comes off as a gish gallop), but I do have a couple objections to what your presenting here.

Yeah Caribert didn't become jack lol. I think the previous Dainsleif quest explained that pretty well. If Chlothar did actually gain the Loom of Fate already and we know our sibling was right there when he did it then that would be that. Everybody could become this Loom of Fate and Khaenri'ah's problem would be solved

Your argument for why Caribert isn't the Loom of Fate basically breaks down to 'because it goes against my previous theory', just because the Abyss Traveler was there when Caribert transformed doesn't mean they know where or how to use the Loom of Fate. It would also be extremely odd from a narrative perspective to make such a big deal out of Caribert being the Loom of Fate only to later rescind such an important revelation. Also no, not all of Khaenri'ah's problems could be solved because as far as we know only the Sinner has the power to return Khaenri'ahs their sentience.

Thanks to this quest we now know. "Pure blood" Khaenri'ahs are based on the Romans left behind after Rome's fall.

I genuinely have no idea how you possibly came to this conclusion from this quest, nor could I think of anything that directly links Khaenri'ah, a nation endlessly rooted in German myth, to Rome and its survivors.

This feels like you missed a major thematic point of the quest. Chlothar suffers far more than any hilichurl because he retains his sentience and suffers from hopelessness because of it, or as the traveler says "To have infinite time, yet no hope... can only be called torture." Being rendered intellectually as an animal by the curse, as the non-pureblood Khaenri'ahns were, is a mercy by comparison.

I theorized that the point of Rhinedottir and Albedo is to show how hard it is to get to rubedo in their alchemy. It could be that once Albedo loses control by screwing up into citrinitas that episode hits Rhinedottir hard and sets up a plot for us to save her from herself.

The idea that Mihoyo got the order of the Magnum Opus (and thus Gold's title) wrong by not putting rubedo at the end is a myth spread by people whos only understanding of Alchemy comes from glancing the Wikipedia page, western Alchemy was practiced for over three-thousand years with the order of the Magnum Opus changing frequently, and it would change depending on what the Magnum Opus was. ex If the Magnum Opus was lead-to-gold transmutation the final stage would be citrinitras or yellow rather then rubedo red.

It was just Rhinedottir's own group that started out as zealots of the Void Realm. This could also explain why our sibling remained an underling to her despite being on the Loom of Fate mission based on the events of this quest.

Is there anything even vaguely suggesting this in game? I can't think of any moment where it was suggested that Rhinedottir was some kind of cult leader to the Abyss during her time in Khaenri'ah.

As a Descender we're at the same level as Phanes

The Travelers at their full power couldn't beat the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles - I really can't imagine their anywhere close to being on Phanes level

OP probably mistook Enkanomiya and the Greco-Roman reference of the unified kingdom for Khaenri'ah. While Khaenri'ah did have similar architecture and this is meaningful to them (from Dains quest in Chasm), we dont actually really know if Khaenri'ah were an actual inheritor of the unified kingdoms like Dragonspine and Enka were, or they were an entirely different group just claiming to be one. That their royal line is a reference to the Frankish and the many references to irl Germanic myths actually seem to hint that the Khaenri'ah wasnt actually an inheritor of the Greco-Roman inspired unified kingdom. In any case, we have no real canon confirmation yet for either argument.

And then you proceed to write a really long gish gallop of a reply. Double standards?

No I don't think its a double standard, I focused on one topic (critiquing/breaking down your post), unlike you, who switched between a litany of different topics, all while dropping links to your many other rambling essays, which also have a tendency to switch between a litany of differing topics.

Perhaps you should've learnt what a gish gallop was beforehand? It would've saved you from this embarrassing attempt at an accusation, and could potentially aid in your future writings.

Yes you could be right that the sibling doesn't actually know how to repeat the process that Chlothar performed. But you realize that Chlothar is still right in front of them by the end of the memory right? He's dead now but he was still with the sibling after Caribert. Does Chlothar also not know what he already did in this idea of yours? Is that why they still need to look into the Loom of Fate?

Chlothar didn't "perform" anything, everything that happened to Caribert happened because of Chlothar meeting with the Sinner. Chlothar would never be able to make another Loom of Fate without finding the Sinner again. Him seeing Caribert transform also means nothing unless you think Chlothar was given a manual on how to use the Loom of Fate. Its also worth mentioning that we don't know what happened to the Loom of Fate or if the Loom of Fate has a contingent cause before it can be used because we don't even know what Caribert and the "Loom of Fate" truly are.

Just because the Architect tells Neo that the only way out of Zion being destroyed is to reset the Matrix doesn't mean Neo can't pull a Matrix Revolutions. Just because Eitri tells Thor he'll die if he takes the full force of a star doesn't mean Thor will die and not just get a dramatic scene where he gets a cool new axe.

Want to know the difference between these examples and your theory? Those move the narrative forward as they have the protagonist directly challenge the stated impossibility, while saying Caribert not being the Loom of Fate does nothing but move the story backwards. Neither of those examples are framed as revelations of new knowledge, only as additional obstacles for the protagonist to overcome.

I said the evidence boils down to "because it goes against my (your) previous theory" because you've yet to provide any positive evidence that Caribert isn't the Loom of Fate - with all your "proof" being little more than fallacious arguments from ignorance attempting to discredit what was said during the Caribert quest.

Also since the Loom of Fate process ended up allowing direct communion between Chlothar and the Sinner that fulfills your argument that "only the Sinner has the power." Yes the Sinner is required for it and it was literally part of the process that we saw which if it did create the Loom of Fate then there would be no point to still have an operation looking into it.

You like to just make things up as evidence, don't you? Show me the dialogue that says Cholthar and the Sinner can communicate, especially after Chlothar directly tells us he can't hear the Sinner's voice or how he tells us he can't feel the Sinner's power after the crystal moves. Because at the moment it seems you struggled in understanding the events that transpired during the quest.

This is where reading would have helped you. I made a whole topic on it that was linked.

A shame that your writing isn't captivating enough for me to want to read it, also worth noting this is the paradigm gish gallop argument. Using layers and layers of nestled essays so you can dismiss critique based on the fallacious argument that anyone who doesn't subject themselves to your previous essays can't make critiques of your current essays.

Replay Requiem of Echoing Depths.

This reply was genuinely funny to me, you had so little ground to defend yourself if you engaged with the core of my argument that you just ignored it completely.

Did you not read about Gold or Pierro? This isn't even theory territory.

Not a theory? Cool, link the dialogue then. But like much of the evidence you present it probably just doesn't exist.

As such it might surprise you to know the people of the middle ages considered red to be the color of gold hence rubedo for gold. Citrinitas for yellow is sometimes even omitted as a step but where it is present it represents an unrefined gold. Notice how gold isn't quite the same as the color yellow. It has an orange tint to it which you get from yellow by adding red. Nice try though.

A crying shame you couldn't provide a source from one of the many Alchemical corpuses you've no doubt read. It's also somewhat odd how similar your rebuttal paragraph is to the Rubedo Wikipedia article, in fact it almost feels like you were just paraphrasing parts of it, no doubt just a coincidence though.

Maybe it isn't so much you didn't read but that you don't have reading comprehension. Nahida already pointed out that just like we're Descenders so was Phanes. I wasn't suggesting that the Traveler had to be at the same strength as Phanes or the Sustainer just that they are on the same level because they are the same thing.

I'm afraid I read it as you wrote it, the idiomatic phrase "On the same level" is agreed to mean "Being balanced or on equal terms" thus a proper way to interpret your sentence would be "As a Descender we're equal to Phanes". Something which can easily be understood as meaning "As a Descender we're equal (in ability) to Phanes". Oddly the definition you used for "on the same level" (being the same thing) wasn't one I found anyone else using, nor was this definition hosted by any online dictionaries I saw. A shame you had to resort to such crude remarks in an attempt to insult my reading comprehension. Perhaps next time try and take into account your own inadequacies concerning your writing ability.

My original reply genuinely wasn't meant to be taken in offence, but the many snide remarks you felt the need to share shows that it unfortunately was.

Saying "cause honestly it comes off as a gish gallop" isn't a direct insult, much less, it isn't an insult at all. Everyone uses fallacy in argument and speech when they aren't directly focused on not using fallacy, a much healthier way to have taken it would have been as critique on your presentation for any future writings. Instead you revealed yourself to be a painfully disingenuous and overly defensive person, quick to insults when people dare to question your dissertations, with a capability for little more than fallacious argument when confronted with even soft critique. Such as going on to claim that the other person who disagreed with you must either be a bot or someone sub-literate in the English language, or how you stated I must be a child or lacking in reading comprehension for disagreeing with your fanfiction. Its an absolute joke to act like I'm the one who made things hostile.

Point out to me the part that "would have prevented me from improperly interpreting it". my interpretation, which follows the common meaning of the words used, still works with the rest of the paragraph. I'm wondering what part implies status throughout this paragraphs? If anything saying "we will end up at the level of the Imaginary Tree which is equally balanced against this "Sinner" aka the Sea of Quanta." directly implies that 'level' is being used for ability rather then being the same thing, you also seemingly ignored that "being the same being" is a definition for "at the same level" only you, and no one else, uses. I'd recommend not reusing the same snarky quip so many times either, it looks desperate.

You had two whole paragraphs in response to my inquiry asking for a source from an alchemical corpus, and in those two paragraphs you've provided none. Gnostics didn't even seek the magnum opus, as alchemy wouldn't see a major revival in the west till after the rise of Islam, it was the Christian group know as the Hermetics, a group separate from the Gnostics, that practiced alchemy and sought the magnum opus. I'm not going with your attempt to shift the burden of proof either, you made the initial statement (rubedo is always the end of the magnum opus) and thus should provide the evidence to back up the statement.

I've heard it before. I chose to make this attempt at explaining the fallacies of replies like this because you demonstrated greater eloquence than most.

I'm glad that you had my best interest in heart when you responded saying "This is where reading would have helped you." or "Maybe it isn't so much you didn't read but that you don't have reading comprehension." or "Reading comprehension issues is also a common thing I've noticed when people use these kinds of arguments" Your such a kind saint, I'm sure that the pope would see you beautified into heaven.

It does seem you took my gish gallop comment far too personally - as you accused me of using a gish gallop three separate times throughout your disquisitions - yet you seemingly couldn't look up its definition once, and as you challenged me (while also saying you were done with the argument?) to prove your original argument is one, while I might as well try.

Gish gallop is a fallacious debate tactic in which a person uses as many arguments as possible against their opponent, without any consideration into the strength of the arguments. The arguer’s aim is to quickly back their position with a large amount of “evidence”, however, it is typically hastily put together, inaccurate, and even irrelevant to the issue at hand.

For example, someone may publish their opinion on social media and back it up by citing a wide variety of sources that, in reality, are irrelevant to the topic or too unclear to be taken seriously.

I have no interest in reading all your other theories - so I'll use a sample-based rebuttal (Your Khaenri'ahs are based on the Romans left behind after Rome's fall statement) and use a deductive proof for my argument.

To prove that the initial argument is a gish gallop, 1) proof must be provided that the arguments used as evidence are poor quality, 2) that the arguments aren't relevant, 3) that the evidence relies on not being engaged with for argumentative purpose, 4) and that the argument is reliant on its quantity.

1a) The link provided for evidence that "Khaenri'ahs are based on the Romans" a) provides four paragraphs of unnecessary detail that don't meaningfully contribute to the theory, b) doesn't create a logic link between Khaenri'ah and only Rome (as using the logic provided Khaenri'ah could be inspired by any dispersed populace), c) is contingent on an unproved assumption that the founders of Khaenri'ah came from the Unified Civilization, d) the theory is uncomplete by itself and requires a further nestling of essays to be complete.

As no logical link has been presented in the argument, the argument relies on an unproven contingent were positive proof was unprovided, and the argument is comprised largely of unrelated tangents explaining Byzantine history, thus the argument can be assumed to be of poor quality.

2a) The entire second paragraph (and first sentence of the third paragraph) of part 2 of your essay could be removed and the main theory would remain the same - but as the first link in the first paragraph is directly tied to the second paragraph it ultimately is irrelevant to the whole of the argument.

3a) "And if you don't believe it was an insult then by all means prove how my topics are gish gallops while keeping in mind that you've stated that you haven't even read them."

"This is where reading would have helped you. I made a whole topic on it that was linked."

After having engaged and read your "whole topic" about "Khaenri'ahs are based on the Romans after the fall of Rome" I find that the argument still fails, as I still don't understand where or what evidence you are using to conclude Khaenri'ah founders take meaningful inspiration from the dispersed people of Rome. Thus I believe that the links reflect an overabundance rather then a necessity - which lead to deflective arguments relying on the links not being read.

4a) You used six different essays and one video as your sources throughout your original argument.

the first link linked to 2 more essays and 2 videos ; Your second link links to 6 more essays; Your third had 4 more essays; Your fourth had 4 more essays; Your fifth had 4 more essays; Your sixth essay had 2 more essays and 1 video.

With a total of 32 video or essays linked most reasonable people would agree that to be an excess of sources - especially when many of the sources require other sources to be understood.

If 1, 2, 3 and 4 are agreed to be logical necessities for a gish gallop argument and If 1a, 2a, 3a, and 4a are agreed to be true, then your argument is a gish gallop.

No sane person is going to want to go trawling through these endless incohesive essays just so they can disprove all of your arguments, especially when confronted all you're capable of with argumentative tactics is endless deflection and cherry picking. Speaking of cherry picking, I'd like to ask again, feel free to provide any positive proof that Chlothar and the Sinner are in communion, or Rhinedottir being an abyss cult leader is "isn't even theory territory", or why the Hilichurl curse is worse than Chlothars - such as quotes or item descriptions that back those ideas up, as for some reason you chose to ignore these arguments.

Putting a "witty" capstone on your arguments doesn't make it better or less riddled by illogical argument you know.

As always very well put. I am also looking forward to the Kaeya of it all;)

Thanks! Kaeya will still be a while but I just got up something about the Hexenzirkel that goes a little further into the Rhinedottir side of things.

While this is all quite interesting, I don’t think Kaeya’ll have it too rough. Will there be a few issues and struggles? Yes. However, he is a playable character in the end, so he can’t exactly be thrown off a cliff in a narrative sense, right?

It's too soon to really tell but I've got a theory on what will happen with him. That's still in the works though since I wanted to get out a topic about the Hexenzirkel first.

The duality between the Abyss and Celestia/Irminsul mirroring the imaginary tree and the sea of quanta was something I had also catch on.

I just feel a bit in the dark about the "ego" of the abyss, we never had something similar for quanta in hoyo other work maybe except that one scene with Su at the end of the seconde key manga.

I wonder if this similarity mean that mystical race (Adeptus, Yokai...) are the equivalent to Mantis in Honkai.

True. That also threw me a little but given how much closer Genshin seems to be it isn't impossible that there could be a voice for the sea and maybe even one for the tree. But otherwise it could still be just an avatar of the sea that's speaking for it.

MANTIS to adepti, youkai? I'd say so but only in terms of abilities. As far as I can tell Genshin's world is structured around the elements with tiers of elemental purity. Adepti and probably youkai and djinn are a step under the Archons. Then Honkai is structured around Honkai absorption with more power granted to people who can absorb more Honkai. The MANTIS could probably be a step under the Herrschers in that way. So if we can equate Herrschers with Archons then MANTIS would be on the level of the adepti and youkai. But they are also artificially made so that'd differentiate them from naturally occurring adepti, youkai and djinn.

You know I wasn't too convinced about the rhindottir stuff but I was just reading the argument you had and looking back over that older theory is more compelling.

I also got a chuckle out of how badly you trashed them and how badly they took it.

I mean it's still up in the air but it seems the most likely story to tell. There's been heavy emphasis on alchemy in this game, Albedo stated that he might lose control one day for a heaping dose of foreshadowing, his profile has him claim that Citrinitas and not Rubedo is what he's after which is a big boo boo and finally Rhinedottir literally burning the world a la Nigredo before ending up with Albedo feels like she was personally attempting to go through the steps until she found the heart and left Albedo in Mondstadt. We'll still need more information to see what miHoYo's planned. Luckily we'll be learning more about Khaenri'ah in the new area of Sumeru.

You know he does make a good point. I definitely appreciate my fans but it is interesting that you found your way to this topic just in time to tell this guy off.

I'm Gary Hill from youtube. You convinced me to start up a reddit account. And then i got hooked on aznidentity. I blame you for that.

2
InotiaKingOP•

LOL my bad. I hope it was still a good experience for you though. O Gary Hill I think I remember seeing your comments in my notifications. Are you one of the guys that told me to check out some videos that lined up with my theories? Gaijin Goombah?

Either way wow glad I got at least one of you guys onto reddit. Welcome! And don't be a stranger.
