Thomas Fabbiano announces his retirement from the ATP Tour

Former world no.70, always a fun watch on court. Probably best known for his 2019 upsets against Tsitsipas at Wimbledon and Thiem at the US Open.

Always mixed him up with fognini just by the last name lol but that Tsitsipas upset was pretty shocking I recall cause everybody was expecting Tsitsipas to perform quite well on the grass especially after breaking thru a couple Slams prior vs Fed with a lot of serve and volley.

Didn't see em play much, but I do remember that one well and it started what would be a streak of subpar results for Stef at Wimbledon on what he's claimed is his favorite surface. Five set epic in the first round took Tsitsi out, good on the guy. Being #70 pro in the world is tough to do for anyone, showed a few good results too before bowing out

Fun player. Fun to watch

One of the short boys club - watched him play in Eastbourne 2019 against eventual runner-up Sam Querrey where he pushed it to a decider. Will always remember somebody shouting "Ti-a amo, Fabbiano!"
