Interview with Ricardo Bare, Creative Director on Redfall

One thing they cover that I haven't seen elsewhere are loot drops. Aside from the usual tiers with random traits, there are specific named weapons that always roll the same.

No ability to upgrade (or re-roll?) weapons though.

They also go into more detail about how progression works in co-op.

More info I see, more I see BL “4” 😄 which is good to me.

Stuff like reroll for higher level is something I can see being added post launch

I wouldn’t get to hyped for the BL part. While loot is a part of the game it isn’t a looter shooter game. There won’t be an emphasis on farmable bosses and farming in general.

They literally have levels on guns, detailed stats of .1 etc.

Farmable bosses are not needed, if enemy respawns

Yeh so does assassins creed and Farcry.

I’m not confident enemies like bosses will respawn

I'm not expecting the loot will be Borderlands level of craziness, but there is clearly going to be an element of farming.
