A Conversation About My Deah

Poem

I have a confession officer

The key to your murder case;

I know you've been working on it for years

You've done a great job sir

I'm sorry for the unslept nights and days

I hope this coffee helps

There's some things I'd like to clear

But can you please move the light from my face?

First, you've made some mistakes

You've searched for her body while it was always there

You've mistaken the physical as lost and her soul as a force that prevails

And you were wrong about the date of death

Isn't this such a peculiar case?

You see, it would happen over and over again

I'm sorry, sir, I truly can't recall all the days

I remember that cruel summer night

I slashed her wrists and left her in a park

You know, just to bleed out there

She woke up, but I hadn't failed

Because, sir, I killed a part of her that day

I tried another murder method

The one I've been interested in years

I tried the snowy mountains

Sure the avalanche awaits

I'm just waiting officer, until she's buried

Screaming for breath

I'm sure soon enough you'll find

More evidence to support my claims

Just check her coat pockets sir

There's nothing but misery there

Alongside my name

This is my confession officer

And it is not nice

I'm sure you're surprised

The most unusual suspect, who would have thought?

Oh sir, you need to help me please

I am begging you to lock me up

Cuff my hands, tie me to a metal bed

Officer, you need to save me from my freedom

If not, I will keep killing her
