Dnd Campaign with Siblings (all first timers)

DMing

I'm going to run a DND 5E campaign with my siblings. This is the first time any of them have ever played but i have DM'd and written campaigns before. I'm really excited to play but I'm a bit nervous to give them a bad taste of a game i love. What are some suggestions to make it run smoother and be a fun time for all?

Some additional facts that may be helpful: -all adults -playing remotely -one of my siblings doesn't really like nerdy stuff and is doing this just for me

How familiar are they with how the game runs? Do they just have a vague idea along the lines of "I'm a dwarf fighter who likes whacking orcs", or are they more familiar with the whole concept of the game?

Haven't done any playing remotely, but I'd think that might make interacting a bit more of a challenge... Setting up expectations for how to deal with technology issues would probably be a good idea.

They have a general understanding of classes from pop culture references and conceptually what they are doing. But nothing about mechanics.

I've played remotely for a few years with friends but this will be the first time playing remotely with newbies.
