Any recommendations for boots for use in a freezer?

Question/Help❓❓

I currently work inside a freezer, n will work in that freezer for at least the next 5-10 years. The temperature in the freezer ranges from -10F to -20F. I am currently doing double merino wool socks n i am wearing my Thorogood Crazyhorse. While i love my boots, theyre now too tight for comfort with the double sock. Anyone with experience in a freezer have any recs? Im also gonna size up a half size to help with the fit.

I would recommend either Frank’s or Nick’s boots with the arctic lining. You will get a couple years in between resoles. While they are considered expensive they are built to your foot and will last a very long time.

Thanks. Yeah, price really isnt an issue, seeing as how this is something i will be doing for a decade. I will look into these brands n appreciate the feedback.

do not double sock it compresses the insulation and will make your feet colder

Everyone that I saw in Alaska was wearing Sorel boots.
I don’t own a pair, but Alaskans know a thing or two about brutal cold.

You’re talking like a warm Canadian winter. We used to have Sorels but since Columbia had bought them, the quality declined rapidly. The solution might be a pair of Schnee’s PAC boots.
