Highly adaptable fanatical purifier: Good or bad for the universe?
Coming back to the game from a long hiatus. Been playing some machine intelligence and now trying for some biological pop shinaigans. I noticed that the xenos are habituated on planets I'd like bit not necessarily suited for. Just saw some numbers on how painful low habitability can be.
How viable do you think a highly adaptable mass colonizing approach would be. Plan to change my traits once I have my Gaia and ecumenopolis planets set up.

It is very viable. Message back to remind me ill send the image of a over tuned adaptability build I cant remember it off the top of my head. Cannot remember the build off the top.
EG. Have 7k tech and 1000 pops without stealing any pops by 2330. In multiplayer (not abusing other players) Also im not that good at the game so im sure better players can do this build even better.
I'd definitely like to see that. I'm not current on DLC so I don't have overturned traits. I'm sure I'll make due with what I have up to federations, I think (although I really should get nemesis)
The main issue is surviving until I can terraform my planets. Putting so many points into adaptability will probably make my capital less productive but I'm hoping that in time my other planets will be more productive until I can min max my species.
My current playthrough is with a determined exterminator and I'm feeling good considering I'm not running into the issues I tend to have tanking my economy or being killed by my neighbors.
I just have to expand, then boom then continue to expand when I can afford it. All the while making military.
