Is there a specific sub-reddit for in-home or basement bars?

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I am planning on building a bar in my basement in the spring and was hoping to find some ideas from people who already have. Is that a post for here or is there a more specific sub-reddit for bars?

Thanks, I saw that, i was hoping for a bar specific sub. Mancave refers to TVs, recliners, tables, etc as well

Alright, I was going to give up assuming there was nothing (it's a pretty specific request), but I thought hey, I might want to build a bar someday too, so I came up with the following consolation prizes.

Bar - Something tells me you found this one.

barshots - Pictures of bars. Close enough.

BarPorn - Same thing. SFW.

homebartending - Dead and not very useful.

BarCraft - Not crafting bars. Playing video games at them.

BarRefaeli - NSFW.

barexam - Am, lawyer, couldn't resist.

BarBattlestations - I think we may have a winner!

r/homebrewing has had a few in the past as well, though it's not what the sub is specifically for.

I think diy is the prefect place, provided you don't just post a pic of the finished project, we wanna know how you did it. My buddys are building a bar right now they plan on posting here. I posted mine here http://redd.it/119xkc EDIT: Oh just realized you weren't talking about posting just looking, well if you browse ideas here I hope you'll make a post when you're done, only fair right? Cheers

Yeah, I'll gladly post to DIY when it's done, I was just looking for a place where I could view more posts of what people have already done, to get ideas.

Yours looks great though! Ever think of putting a kegerator under and running the tap up through the bar? Looks like you would have the room and wiring for it?

Oh yeah, I thought about it but I only have partys a few times a year.I used to have a kegerator. If you don't use it often you have to untap it, turn off the co2, and clear the line. The keg will get nasty before I can drink it. Instead I'm planning on getting one of those glass door fridges so I can display all my favorite craft bottled beers. I can also store cold pint glasses, juices and soda. Then put a wine fridge next to that one for the wife.

Dont store your pint glasses cold.....It's bad.

Unless you are only using them for shitty macros.

Good to know. Because they taste like fridge or because good beer shouldn't be super cold?
