MCX tapered lug barrel extension tool (bev block/reaction rod etc)

I’ve been reading a lot of posts about factory installed mcx spear flash hiders being tough to remove. Then I realized the lugs don’t fit a standard AR pattern tool such as a reaction rod. Anyone know where I can buy one that fits an MCX? Or anyone have tips to wrench this sucker off (assuming mine is one of the tough ones)? I’m very hesitant to clamp at the gas block but I may have to try that…curious if anyone has had good or bad results with that method? I am not willing to clamp the upper itself

Well I never heard anything back. If it’s useful for you, I found posts suggesting you can grind off the 1 and 3 o’clock lugs on a bev block and it will fit. Also some info about using a deep 19mm socket and an impact gun. My problem was not having a way to lock into the lugs and not having a barrel vice. I made a few attempts to clamp it but none were sufficient. Luckily, I have a gem of a gunsmith nearby that swapped it while I waited for $40. I’m sure it’s not too bad if you have a way to clamp it or are more willing than I am to wrench against the gas block. But for $40 and 20 mins, I figured it’s not worth buying the tools I need. Mine did have rocksett residue but the guy said it was just crazy tight

Also, I should have clarified, I have a spear LT 5.56. Not a regular AR 10 sized spear, not an original MCX that I believe used a standard AR lug pattern. Just the newer MCX Spear LT. Thanks for any help on insight! I hope I have one of the ones that comes off easy
