I have an annoying CarPlay issue in my 2023 f150 tremor I’m hoping someone can provide info on. There are certain intersections where my CarPlay freezes, then disconnects. 100% of the time at the same stoplights. Once I get past the light, it can reconnect. I have cellular service (not that cell service should matter for CarPlay). There must be something on the stoplights that interferes with the wireless connection and it’s very annoying. I hit one light and lose CarPlay. It reconnects just as I hit the next one and I lose it again. If I get stuck at the red light long enough, it may fail to reconnect automatically and I have to do it manually.
It’s not all intersections with stoplights,
Hey guys, one more question for you. When I hit 60mph, I often hear a nearly inaudible, dog whistle type of high pitched whistle/whine coming from the hood area on my car. It’s barely noticeable but crazy annoying once you know.
Has anyone else noticed this and found the source? It doesn’t seem related to rpms, just speed as if something on the front of the pickup resonates with 60mph of air moving past it
I have a 2023 F150 tremor nearing the end of warranty. I want to get it in for all the little problems I can before warranty runs out. I was wondering, does anyone else notice their hood rattles, sometimes pretty loudly/violently at highway speeds, with a heavy crosswind or while passing? It’s like air gets in the ‘scoop’ on the back, near the wipers and forces it up .25-.5” violently.
I have some minor body alignment issues (one tire rubs when fully turned, shop said they can’t find a simple solution and believes there is misalignment or out of spec part somewhere). I want to fix everything I can while it’s in the shop and I’m unsure if my hood is a minor, widespread issue or a unique, fi
I believe it fits but I’m a little concerned about driving around with the weight of a four wheeler on my tailgate. Has anyone done it or have any suggestions?
Over 5k miles, I’ve had the right combination of speed, crosswind, passing a semi etc to violently (and momentarily) rattle my hood. The first time I had to pull over because I thought I must not have fully latched it. Turns out, I can wiggle the front and back of the hood a bit and with just the right speeds and crosswind, it can really rattle and bang (again, just for a moment and only a handful of times over 5k miles). Anyone else run into this? It’s minor but I’m wondering if I have a defect I should take care of within warranty or this is just a minor flaw in the shape of the hood/the way it latches?
I have a brand-spankin-new 2023 ecoboost tremor that has had random electrical issues that I’m curious if any of you have experienced/fixed.
First problem (about two months ago): about to accelerate from a stop sign when another guy tried to go on my turn. The collision avoidance braked crazy hard while I was doing about 5mph and I started getting blasted with messages. Things like “service advance track, service power steering, service abs….” The advance track is the only code I remember specifically but basically, I got a message to service everything electronic over the next 10 minutes. I pulled into a parking lot and lost power steering while parking. Pulled straight into my spot, turne
Hey guys, I’m looking at the manual for my Spear LT 5.56. It says to press the left side down for less gas, right side down for more. I’d assume this means from the shooters perspective while looking through your sights. But then the picture in the manual is looking at the muzzle end. So is it left side from shooters perspective for less gas or is it left side in reference to the picture in the manual (meaning right side from shooters perspective)? I’m sure this is a dumb question and I know I can shoot it or disassemble it and probably figure it out but thought I’d check hear. From what ive read online, I believe it’s left side down from shooters perspective = less gas and the picture in th
I’ve been reading a lot of posts about factory installed mcx spear flash hiders being tough to remove. Then I realized the lugs don’t fit a standard AR pattern tool such as a reaction rod. Anyone know where I can buy one that fits an MCX? Or anyone have tips to wrench this sucker off (assuming mine is one of the tough ones)? I’m very hesitant to clamp at the gas block but I may have to try that…curious if anyone has had good or bad results with that method? I am not willing to clamp the upper itself
Full disclosure: I am indecisive and hoping for first hand recommendations to help me choose an LPVO. I have barely narrowed my search and am very open to suggestions. Right now, I’m bouncing between vudus, razor gen IIs, tango 6ts, and even the vortex viper 1-6. The cheap side of me says the viper gives a lot for the money. The spendy side says the vudu, tango 6T and razor gen ii are needed for this expensive rifle but I can’t afford gen iii or nightforce. I honestly can go either way on sfp vs FFP or 1-6 vs 1-8 or 10. My main use is probably having fun at the range/coyote hunting and I’ll like the extra magnification but don’t want to sacrifice image quality for magnification. The high end
I see this has been asked before but I’m hoping to get some fresh answers. Any of you use tire chains on your F150 Tremor? Any recommendations? The owners manual says you can not use them on the factory tire size (it does feel like there is a potential clearance issue…it would be a tight fit on the inside). Just wondering if this is legit, Ford CYA, or something you can work around with specialized chains? If anyone has personal experience to share, I’d appreciate it (and it would make purchasing chains and ignoring the owners manual less stressful)
Hey guys, I’ve read through an old post about light bearing holsters (and it’s awesome). I have a 365xl with 507k, TLR7 sub, and Wilson grip module and I’m hoping to find a non-sidecar holster with 2 tuckable clips, a claw, and minimal opening around the trigger guard.
From that old post, the QVO and slimfit seem to fit the criteria I am after but they have very long lead times. Before I put in an order, I just wanted to see if anyone has personal recommendations for a similar setup that I should check out before making my decision.
Also, to whoever made that detailed light bearing holsters post: you are a saint.
